Nordic Noir

Nordic Noir is a fan community for all fans of Nordic crime literature, movies, tv-series, audio productions etc. All kinds of fandom-related activities: thoughts, fanworks, news, vids, fanfiction, slash fiction, picspams, promoposts, etc. are welcome here, in posts and and in comments. Squeeing is highly encouraged!

Haven't heard of Nordic Noir? Some of the genre's best known characters are Kurt Wallander, Martin Beck, Varg Veum, Harry Hole, Listbeth Salander and Mikael Blomkvist (The Millennium Trilogy/The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), all created by authors from Nordic countries. A few posting rules:
- Posting and commenting language is English, to overcome language barriers. Linking to posts and pages in Nordic languages is approved and encouraged, as long as you provide an explanation in English also.
- Trolling and flaming will lead to expulsion from the community. Please use common sense and play nice. :)
- Adult-rated material must be hidden behind an LJ-cut and thoroughly warned for.
- Longish and picture heavy posts must be hidden behind an LJ-cut.
- Introduction posts are encouraged, but not obligatory.
- Ask the mod when in doubt.
